I’ve spent most of my life adapting.

To cultures. To expectations. To rooms that didn’t feel made for me.

I grew up in East London, between two very different worlds culturally, religiously, emotionally. At home, I was learning how to navigate family dynamics. At school, I was figuring out how to blend in. And later, in corporate spaces, I learnt how to code-switch before I even knew that term existed.

It made me adaptable, resilient and a high-achiever.

But it also made it hard to show up as me.

That’s why I do this work.

I know what it’s like to feel unsure of what to say, when to speak up, or how to handle hard conversations even when you’re smart, capable and successful.

I also know that communication isn’t just a “soft skill.” It’s THE skill. And when you know how to use it well, you stop shrinking, second-guessing and over-explaining. You start showing up with clarity and confidence and life gets easier.

I started my career in Learning & Development, where I spent over a decade leading behavioural change initiatives, designing workshops and coaching professionals inside companies across various industries including, finance, asset management and transport industries.

The Communication Expert

In 2017 I qualifies as a coach and by 2021 I launched The Communication Expert. A platform to bring together my expertise in leadership, personal development and emotional intelligence.

Since then, I’ve supported hundreds of professionals and ambitious teams, partnered with brands like Adidas, giffgaff and Nike and hosted workshops that help people connect, communicate and lead with a human first approach.

Why “The Communication Expert”?

Because this isn’t about fluffy coaching or vague advice.

It’s about giving you a toolbox of communication skills you can use in real life at work, in relationships and with yourself.

It’s about helping you unlearn the habits that keep you quiet, disconnected or over-adapting.

And it’s about showing up with more clarity, confidence and calm in every conversation that matters.
